A Drop of Hope: Prologue

Children, tuck yourselves in bed; and let me tell you the story told about ''The Hero''.
Two thousand years ago, there was a young boy training to be a great swordsman and voice to his people. As the boy grew, he trained to be the Captain of a regal army of both Traverse people and humans alike.
Years later he had come to fall in love with a beautiful Golden Butterfly girl named, Kisa; only to discover soon that she was the Goddess of the Sun and Light itself. The fell in love and were to be married in the spring.
But not everyone was happy for them. The God of Harvest; and the young friend who cared deeply for the Goddess became enraged and wanted her all for his own. He soon changed into something everyone had feared; a God of War. He waged war against everyone on Earth and killed anyone in his way.
Knowing that the war would not end until he was stopped, the hero would personally face the God and end his tyranny. The God of the Moon heard of the news and bestowed him a sword fit to fight against The God of War.
The sword was light as a feather with each swing, and would slice any kind of metal or mineral without any force.
The day had come for the Hero and the God to face each other, and end each other.
After hours to no end of battle with each other, the Hero's sword became heavier, and heavier. It wasn't until he felt his sword become so heavy to the point of not lifting it to his shoulders. The God saw his chance and attacked the Hero; slicing his chest open. Beaten, and feeling the world's weight on his shoulders he knew he could not fail his people and the Goddess. He picked up his sword and cursed the God of War inside the sword's blades.
The Goddess; now happy the war had ended had flown down to Earth to meet with her lover.
But what she saw ruined her; the Hero was dead.
But, that did not stop her from her duty of taking her people; both Traverse and Konchu into another world to forget the war.
Once done, the Goddess was happy that her people would finally be safe. But, it did not mend her broken heart; for her lover was gone.

Yet.

Once upon a time,
He would be reborn as a new man; with new memories ahead of him.
